Who we are

SickB operates sickb.io and the SickB Android app: SickB Social, and tools for SickB Chain (Bridge, Trade, SickPad, Scan, Vaults and trading bots). This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

Questions and requests about privacy, account deletion or support go to support@sickb.io.

Your wallet is your account

You sign in by signing a message with your crypto wallet. There is no password. Your wallet address identifies your account. SickB never receives or stores your wallet's private keys, and every transaction you make is approved in your own wallet.

Signing in sets a session cookie on your device that lasts up to 30 days. We also keep small settings in your browser or app storage, such as your wallet connection and language.

Connecting a wallet uses your wallet app and, for some wallets, the WalletConnect relay service. Those services handle the connection under their own privacy terms.

What we collect

Profile: your display name, username, bio, location, website and avatar link, if you add them. Your profile is public.

Optional account details: if you enter an email address, phone number or date of birth in profile settings, we store them privately with your account. They are not shown on your profile.

Social activity: your posts, replies, likes, follows, blocks and the notifications they create.

Media: photos and videos you choose to attach to a post.

Reports: if you report content, we store the report, your reason and explanation, and a short copy of the reported content as evidence.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data.

Camera and microphone

The app asks for camera access only when you open the camera to take a photo or video for a post, and microphone access only when you record a video. Nothing is recorded in the background.

A photo or video is uploaded only when you publish the post it is attached to. You can always choose an existing file instead, or decline the permission.

Posts last 24 hours

Social posts, their replies and likes, and their link-preview cards expire 24 hours after a post is published. Expired posts are no longer shown in SickB, and their attached photos and videos are no longer served and are scheduled for deletion from storage.

A link to an expired post still opens, but only shows that the post is no longer available. It does not show the post, its author or its content.

You can delete your own post earlier. When you do, we keep a private note that the post was deleted, without its content, for 12 months. Your profile, follows and blocks stay until you change them or delete your account.

Anything you share outside SickB, such as a link posted to another app, or a screenshot, is controlled by that service or person. Other apps may keep the preview they already fetched.

Blockchain activity is public

Swaps, bridge transfers, Vault deposits and withdrawals, and other transactions are recorded on public blockchains (SickB Chain, Arbitrum, Ethereum). They are visible to anyone, are permanent, and cannot be changed or deleted by SickB or by account deletion. SickB reads public chain data through blockchain network (RPC) providers to show balances and activity.

Vaults and trading bots

A Vault is a smart contract on SickB Chain that belongs to your wallet. Its address, balances and transactions are public chain data. It is designed so that only its owner can withdraw from it, and every deposit and withdrawal is approved in your wallet.

If you create a trading bot, SickB's bot service stores your wallet address, your Vault address, the bot's settings, its status, its trade history and trading statistics, and a separate bot wallet created for the bot, whose private key is stored encrypted. This data is used only to run your bots and show you their results.

Deleting your SickB account in the app does not remove bot-service records, so that deleting a Social account can never stop, strand or lose control of a running bot or its funds. Close your bots in the app first; then email support@sickb.io from your account to have remaining off-chain bot and Vault-service records deleted. Your Vault contract, its funds and its on-chain history are not affected by either.

Moderation records

To keep SickB Social safe, we keep records of reports, moderation actions and the content they concern.

Routine moderation records are deleted 12 months after the matter is resolved. A report is resolved when we act on it or dismiss it, or when the reported content has expired or been deleted.

We keep a record longer only while it is needed for an ongoing investigation, to meet a legal obligation, or to prevent serious abuse.

Records that stop removed content from reappearing are kept as long as they are needed. They hold only the removed post's identifier. If an account was suspended for breaking our rules, a minimal record of the suspended wallet is kept so the decision continues to apply.

Blocks other people place on your wallet belong to them and are not removed when you delete your account.

Deleting your account

You can delete your SickB account at any time in the app (More, then Delete account) or at sickb.io/delete-account in any browser. Deletion removes your profile, posts, replies, likes, follows, the blocks you placed, your notifications, the media and share cards of your posts, and your stored account details. It also signs you out on every device.

Deletion does not remove the moderation records described above, bot-service records, or public blockchain activity. If you sign in again later with the same wallet, a new, empty account is created.

Deleting your account does not close your trading bots or withdraw funds from your Vault. Your Vault belongs to your wallet: keep access to that wallet, or its recovery phrase, to withdraw. SickB cannot recover your wallet and does not withdraw Vault funds on your behalf. If you connect the same wallet again, your existing Vault is still found and usable.

Service providers

We use service providers to run SickB: hosting for the website and app content, a database service, the SickB bot service, wallet connection services, and blockchain RPC providers. They process data only to provide those services to us.

If our providers keep backup copies, deleted data can remain in those copies until they expire under the provider's schedule.

We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect SickB users from harm.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your profile details, delete posts, unfollow and block people, decline camera and microphone access, and delete your account. For anything else, including a copy of your data or a correction, email support@sickb.io.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it here with a new effective date.
